A. Students who arrive before 8:30 are to go to the Convo and wait till the teacher picks them up.
B. Empty book bag ~~ place personal belongings in desk
C. Take homework to the teacher's desk, for her to check
D. Begin morning work. After morning work is finished, then
students may socialize or take AR TEST
E. Students must be in their seats ready to begin the day at 8:50
3. Behavior when leaving the class:
A. Leave only when dismissed by the teacher
B. Hallway rules apply: walk, no talking, keep hands to selves
4. Format for heading papers:

5. Procedure for turning in completed work:
A. Bring worksheet to teacher's desk.
B. Highlight their name
C. Place completed paper in tray
6. How to request a drink of water:
A. Raise your hand to ask permission
B. Water bottles allowed
C. Put a sock on the bottle
7. Grading policy:
A. Grades taken on all test and quizzes
B. Homework is rarely taken for a grade
C. One point will be taken off for each misspelled word on
a test containing a "word bank"
D. No points will be taken off for misspelled word if NO "word
bank" was provided

A. Hard books must never be written in
18. Procedure for sharpening pencils and requesting supplies:
A. There will be pencils on your desk the teacher will sharpen the pencils

20. Procedure if you do not have class materials:
A. Borrow ~ temporarily from teacher or classmate
B. Parents are responsible for making sure their child has needed
pencils, paper, erasers, etc.
C. Any parent unable to provide for their child is asked to meet
with the teacher ~ teacher will then see that the child has supplies
21. Policy for making up work:
A. Homework will be sent home with siblings, neighbors, or friends
B. Parents may pick up homework
C. A reasonable amount of time will be given, depending on
number of days missed
22. Penalty for late work:
A. Bring in work THE NEXT DAY
B. If the work is not brought in the next day, work will be made up during free time
C. In extreme cases, specials will be taken away
23. Policy on running:
A. Only run during recess and P.E. class
B. NEVER RUN WITHIN CLASSROOM OR IN HALLS
24. Policy on neatness of desk and closet space:
A. Both should be cleaned at the end of each school day
B. Students are NEVER to make marks on their desk
25. Nightly Homework:
A. There will be homework every night except Friday
B. Homework should not last more than 10-20 minutes
26. Policy on Mass participation:
A. Recite all prayers
B. Sing, unless you have a cold
C. Be quiet and save socializing for outside after Mass (You are in God's House. Be respectful of those
trying to pray.)
27. Policy in respect:
A. Respect your parents
B. Respect all teachers, playground supervisors, cafeteria workers, and any other adult who is in charge.
C. Respect all classmate and their property
D. Be Courteous and helpful to all you come in contact.
(Look for Jesus in others.)

A. Always do your best.
B. Take your time.
C. Don't worry about how others did ~~ IT IS NONE OF
YOUR BUSINESS HOW THEY DID AND IT IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS HOW YOU DID.

B. We usually celebrate birthdays at the end of the day.
C. If your child has a summer birthday, he/she may celebrate with the class in May.
